My 90-day experimentation

Clearly, the benefits of oxytocin are very remarkable. This compelled me to start a supplementation schedule as part of my anti-aging regimen. I reached out to an antiaging doctor, did a consultation, and got prescribed oxytocin in the form of a nasal spray to be used daily. I started taking an oxytocin supplement in August of this year. Oxytocin administration may aid in healing injuries, improve bone health, and contribute to weight reduction by influencing food intake and the brain’s reward system.

For the first two months, I didn’t feel any change. But starting in the third month, I noticed a significant decrease in my appetite, and I felt full when eating a meal much quicker than usual. In addition to those changes, my taste buds were changing too and most food that I enjoy started to taste bland. I did not like this aspect at all. I wasn’t at first concerned about the changes, until I got on the scale and saw I had lost 10 lbs in a few weeks.

Not knowing what caused the changes I was experiencing, I had to start ruling out my supplements one by one, starting with the newest one: oxytocin. I stopped the supplementation. I also started researching the possible side effects of oxytocin supplementation. I found several articles in the National Public Health database relating to the fact that oxytocin supplementation reduces caloric intake and could potentially promote weight loss. This definitely supports my hypothesis that oxytocin supplement was the possible cause of the change in my appetite. Another study has cast doubt on the ability of oxytocin to promote weight loss. But that study only lasted 8 weeks. My weight loss happened at 12 weeks.

This begs the question as to why oxytocin is not being prescribed for weight loss. Instead of Ozempic, which is causing a lot of health problems, oxytocin could be a safer alternative.
